    1. Day 1 CUSCO- PISCACUCHO- WAYLLABAMBA

      We will leave early in the morning taking our private transportation heading to the sacred valley, on the way we will do a short stop for having breakfast, then we will arrive to km 82 the starting point of the inka trail, here we will meet our porters and then go the checking point to start our trek, after crossing the Urubamba river located at 2600m we will start the legendary inka trail. This first day is relatively easy perfect to get used to the altitude and good warm up for the next days. We will spend the night in a village called wayllabamba( 3000m/9,843 ft).

      Hiking Distance: 12 km/7.5 miles

      Hiking Time: 6 hours .

    2. Day 2 WAYLLABAMBA-WARMYHUANUSCA ( DEATH WOMA’S PASS) PACAYMAYO.

      This day it will be our challenge day,  it will take aproximatly 5 hours to reach the highest point( 4215m/13,828 ft) called the death woma’s pass, from this high point you can see glacier mountains, valleys and never ending mountain ranges, for most hikers this day is the most difficult one, after having a good break on the top, we will continue down to our campsite pacaymayo (3600m/11,810 ft)

      Hiking Time: 7 hours

    3. Day 3 PAQAMAYO- ABRA RUNKURAQAY- SAYAQMARQA- PHUYUPATAMARKA- WIÑAYWAYNA

      This day we will notice that climate and landscape are changing because we are into the cloud forest already, after breakfast we will climb up to the second highest point of the inca trail the Runkurakay pass (3,950m/12,960 ft) along the way we will visit impressive inka sites such as RUNKURAKAY, SAYACMARKA well preserved sites with spectacular engineering system, then we will arrive to PHUYUPATAMARKA(3650m/ 11,975 ft), this beautifull camping place offers spectacular views and a magical sunset, where will spend our third night.

      Hiking Time: 5 hours

    4. Day 4 PHUYUPATAMARKA-WINAYHUAYNA- SUNGATE- AGUAS CALIENTES.

      A longer hiking distance but relatively easy day, after having breakfast you will go down to Winayhuayna site( 2,700m/11,975 ft), one of the most beautiful and well preserved inka sites, also in this place we will have our lunch and say goobye to our cook and porters, then we will continue to the Sungate from where we will have a spectacular view of Machupicchu then we continue down to the inka citadel, after having those panoramic pictures we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes to spend the night in a hotel.

      Hiking Distance: 12 km/ 7.5 miles

      Hiking Time: 6 hours

    5. Day 5 MACHUPICCHU

      The main day of our trek, from Aguas Calientes we will take the buss to the inka citadel, where you will have a 2 hours guided tour, after that time you will have free time to enjoy and explore more of this magic place. Then you will return to Aguas Calientes where you may have lunch or simply enjoy the town before taking the train back to  Olantaytambo  station, here  our driver will be waiting for you to take  you back to Cusco.

      NOTE: this last day you have the chance to hike extra to HUANAYPICCHU MOUNTAIN OR MACHUPICCHU MOUNTAIN, this 2 mountains need extra entrance ticket and you need to book well in advance due to limited number of hikers per day.
