The inkas used this trail for their pilgrimage to the sacred citadel of Machupicchu.

    We strongly recommend to check Inka Trail availability with us and book at least 4 months in advance


      We will leave early in the morning taking our private transportation heading to the sacred valley, on the way we will do a short stop for having breakfast, then we will arrive to km 82 the starting point of the inka trail, here we will meet our porters and then go the checking point to start our trek, after crossing the Urubamba river located at 2600m we will start the legendary inka trail. This first day is relatively easy perfect to get used to the altitude and good warm up for the next days. We will spend the night in a village called wayllabamba( 3000m). HIKING DISTANCE: 12km DIFFICULTY: Moderate HIKING TIME: 6 hours MEALS: lunch and dinner


      This day it will be our challenge day, reaching the highest point 4215m called the death woma’s pass, for most hikers this day is the most difficult one, after getting to the summit and having a good break on the top, we will continue down to our campsite pacaymayo (3600m) where we will spend the second night. HIKING DISTANCE: 8 km aprox. DIFFICULTY: CHALLENGE HIKING TIME: 5:30 Hours MEALS: Breakfast- Lunch- Dinner


      This day we will notice that climate and landscape are changing because we are into the cloud forest already, along the way we will visit impressive inka sites such as RUNKURAKAY, SAYACMARKA well preserved sites with spectacular engineering system, then we will arrive to PHUYUPATAMARKA(3600m) where will spend our third night. HIKING DISTANCE: 10km DIFFICULTY: Moderate HIKING TIME: 6 hours MEALS: Breakfast- Lunch-Dinner


      A longer hiking distance but relatively easy day, after having breakfast you will go down to Winayhuayna site, one of the most beautiful and well preserved inka sites then we will continue to the Sungate from where we will have a spectacular view of Machupicchu then we continue down to the inka citadel, after having those panoramic pictures we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes to spend the night in a hotel. HIKING DISTANCE: 12 km DIFFICULTY: Normal HIKING TIME: 5:30 hours MEALS: Breakfast- Lunch- Dinner

    5. Day 5 MACHUPICCHU

      The main day of our trek from Aguas Calientes we will take the buss to the inka citadel, where you will have a 2 hours guided tour, after that time you will have free time to enjoy and explore more of this magic place. Then you will return to Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Olantaytambo and then bus to Cusco. EXTRA OPTIONAL HIKINGS FOR THE FITH DAY: -WAYNAPICCHU MOUNTAIN ( 3 Hours round trip) -MACHUPICCHU MOUNTAIN( 4 hours round trip)
