  1. Day 1 TAMBOMACHAY - PUKAMARCA

We will leave the hotel at 6 am and go to the Inca side of Tambomachay just outside Cusco. Our path will lead us over high passes, beautiful valleys, small villages and spectacular mountain lakes.  the trail is gentle and flat in some parts . After 3 hours walking we will reach Pukamarca a traditional Andean village located in the highlands of the sacred valley, where will have our Box lunch. After that we will continue another 3 hours to Huchuy Qosqo, on the way will see typical andean flora and we will have the chance to hike on a original inca trail. then we will arrive to the archaeological inca site, where the guide will give you a guided tour to see the main parts of this fantastic construction. After visiting and enjoying the great views to the Sacred Valley, we will go down around 2 hours to reach Lamay town, where our driver will be waiting for us to take us to Ollantaytambo train station. Here at this station we will take the train to Aguas calientes town ( 1: 45 minutes) and there we will spend the night in a hotel.

    Walking distance: 16 km/ 10 miles

    Walking time: 8 hours

  2. Day 2 Aguas Calientes-Machupicchu-Cusco

This is  the main day, because we will visit one of the new seven wonders( Machupicchu), After an early breakfast we will take the first buses, around 30 minutes by bus we will reach the entrance of Machupicchu, where we will show our passports and entrance tickets, then we will go the main spot for the postal and classic pictures, after you will have a guided tour for around 3 hours to see the main parts and learn more about this magical, after that you will have free time to explore more by your own. then you will return to Aguas calientes for lunch or simply relax going to the hot springs. later in the afternoon we will take the train to Ollantaytambo, where our driver will be waiting for you to bring you back to Cusco.

NOTE: For the last day, many clients ask for extra hikes around Machupicchu, so we have some options for free like the Sun Gate or the Inca bridge, but if you want to hike to Huaynapicchu mountain or Machupicchu mountain, both places need extra payment and booking well in advance, because of limited number of hikers per day.
